Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour, 2 tbsp sugar, 2 tsp baking powder, ½ tsp baking soda, ½ tsp salt, 1 ¼ cups milk, 1 large egg, 4 tbsp unsalted butter (melted), 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1 cup heavy cream, ¼ cup powdered sugar, 1 cup caramel sauce, 1 cup fresh strawberries, ¼ cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and whisk until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium heat.
- Pour ¼ cup of batter onto the hot griddle for each pancake.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
- In a bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gradually add powdered sugar and continue whipping until stiff peaks form.
- To assemble the pancakes, stack 6-8 pancakes on a plate, drizzle with caramel sauce, top with whipped cream, strawberries, and walnuts.
